Quick Throttle Body Mod

Whats up everybody. I finally got my 95 Talon yesterday and I heard that if I take 2 couplers and attach them to my hoses on my throttle body and then re-assemble everything it would give me a couple hp. Just wanted to know if this was true before I bought anything or wasted time.

WTF...umm care to explain what you are talking about? I don't see how adding rubber to some hoses will help any...

I think he means the coolant bypass fix. Just loop the coolant so it can't heat up your TB.

you could port out the TB.

Not sure witch car you have but if its turbo. You most likely will also have to bypass the FIAV, if not the idle will not come down.

Im not sure if my computer is being retarded again but I dont see the diagram. Id like to try this mod when I get my n/t throttle body in and put it on my gsx. Maybe you could pm me more details or post it here for everyone? Thanks

Sure here is the full page. I figured it would be the same on a talon as it would on a GS.

I think this mod has been around since the begining of fuel injected time. I first read about this mod in or around 1994-95 and then I looped the coolant hoses in the EGR spacer on my 88 5.0. This cost nothing and I noticed nothing.
I wouldn't say it's a waste of time but I wouldn't expect any gains at all.
