OK, My car is in storage and in about 5 hours, I need to move it from my warehouse to my garage. It's only a 4 min drive. Here's the problem. My oil return line for my 14B is crimped almost in half (acident, long story). I need to drive the car and I dont have time to replace the line.

If I crimp it off all the way, so it doesnt leak, will it hurt anything in a 4 min drive? If so, I guess I will have to line it up as best as possible and wrap a $hitload of duct tape around it.

Is it a high pressure area?? Is there alot of oil flowing through there??

Please let me know the answers to these questions within the next 3 hours. Any useful advice would help. Thanks in advance.

There is almost no pressure in that line - oil just "falls" back into the oil pan. If you can slip hose over it and clamp it, it should be fine.

I have a stock oil return line - $10 plus shipping and it's yours. PM me if you'd like it... should be a lot better than $50.00 for a new one. :D

Did this happen when the road debris jacked your intercooler?

Awesome, thanks for the info. It worked just fine with no leaks.

No, actually I messed it up myself. I had the car jacked up and there was a jack stand underneath it, but not supporting anything. I let the car down a couple inches and the return line came right down on the jackstand almost pinching it in half. It was my fault for being a retard and not watching where the jackstand was....... Ohh well, at least it's an easy fix. :thumb:
