im changing my lifters tomorow and im going to tell you basicly what im doing. tell me if something wrong. First im going to take valve cover off. then im going to pop off the rocker arms. no bolts? right? and then lift lifters out and replace with new ones?

Yup, just make sure you torque them down right when you put it all back together, the cam caps that is.

I've done it with and without removing the cams. Both ways work. Without removing the cams you are going to want to take your time and rotate the crank as you go so the springs aren't compressed on the lifters you are working on.

Here is the VFAQ on the subject: Lifter VFAQ

Hope this helps!
