What the tech name or name parts store would use for gasket between j pipe and turbo?

most part stores won't sell that gasket by itself. you MIGHT get lucky and get it in a "turbo gasket" set. good luck!

edit: tell them to luck under "turbocharger" and see what gaskets they have listed.

buy a roll of felpro gasket material and make your own . it's like 5 bux and youll have enough left over to make other gaskets for other things as well.

Yea they don't have it sepeate and kit not in stock. Is there a preference in the roll gasket I have some of that at home if not

Just use RTV.

As jjrock said, Copper RTV is what I use and never had an issue.

copper is actually the high temp gasket maker. look on the back of the tube and make sure you get the true high heat one
