Stupid but quick question about a part.

Since it's easier to order parts for eclipses than for talons, i ordered a tie rod end for an eclipse. When i got the part, it is too long, and will not fit on my car. Question is, should the eclipse and talon tie rod end be the same for 95? Just want to make sure before i return it. Thanks

The only real difference should be just apperance items. All parts, like tierod ends, should be the same. The only difference that would make a difference would be between AWD and FWD or turbo and non-turbo. Double check what you ordered and also put it next to the old piece to make sure that it acyually is longer. I have also never heard of Mitsu parts being more expensive that Eagle but who knows.

The parts are exactly the same for Mitsu and Eagle. Go back to where you got it and tell them that they f'ed up and you need the tied rod end for an "Eagle Talon" by AMC. Be sure to specify NON turbo and what not.

Yeah, thats what I figured too but if you go to OReillys its under "AMC" for some reason. I guess its all how the company organizes its database.
