Quick question about speedometer calibration.

All I want is for someone with a 2G DSM with stock transmission, stock (or as close to stock as possible) tires, etc. To tell me what their speed is in 5th gear at 3000 RPM. I need to calibrate my speedometer needle, and it's close, but no cigar. I have 245/45-17's on my car, which is only a 3% difference in speed from stock. I'm thinking if I get it to cruise at a certain RPM and know what speed it's supposed to be at, I can jam that needle right on. Thanks guys.

I checked it out for you. My 2G has stock wheels and tires; 215/45-17. Cruising at 3000 rpm in 5th gear, the speedometer reads 71-72 mph. I don't think the gear ratios or the final drive ratio changed during the production run of 2Gs, but I may be wrong.
