Quick need FWD 3" exhaust pictures

I need pictures under the car...(for 1g)They are telling me no way 3" is going to fit..obviously i know it will need pictures to show them.

I can't go somewhere else this guy treats me good. He has put a 3" on my awd but my fwd he is just saying no way... Lets go need some pictures of some 1g fwd exhausts

... i know im not a 1g but the place i bought my exhaust from said the same thing... the only thing ive ever hit my exhaust on was a sobe bottle laying on its side going 30mph, and it was the craziest sound EVER. never scraped on the road though and my car is way lower than any 1g can go. heres a picture i have in my gallery. id say on getting it, im pretty sure a company wouldn't manufacture something that sits on the ground so don't worry about it.

I know but i don't have the bumper cut out... So i don't know if thats the problem or not.. My car is slightly lowered with a apexi n1 muffler... So the damn can might be getting in the way since i don't have the bumper cutout

edit: by in the way i mean dragging on the ground

oh, i see... i thought it was a clearance issue because of the 3" going under the axle man. heres a few shots of 1g's running monster exhausts with no cut out on their bumper... tell me your installing it and not this shop thats telling you it won't fit.

btw where are all the 1g guys at?!?!?

Well if it is, someone on here did a thread about cutting it out, and using weather stripping around it. It turned out really good.

Well according to him he can not fit a 3" pipe over the control arm it has to go under.. thats why i need pictures.

Exhaust shops told me they can only fit 2.25 inch pipe over the control arm, I just bought an aftermarket exhaust that is 3 inch and it goes over the control arm no problem.

I ran outside and took the best pictures I could without jacking up the car. My tools and such are at my moms house and I'm at mine.


do ignore the orange hose. The fit was a little tight and until I got it perfect(after several minor tweaks) the pipes tapping was driving me nuts. So now its merely as a just-in-case piece to protect my pipe.

You asked for pictures. Not really bends. But it really is just a slopping bend over the frame. Once you go to the side for the gas tank, you go back again and then slop up over the frame and come back down. Its exactly like the fractory exhuast. Let me try and get a jack and see if I can get better pictures. Give me like 10 mins to finish my ramen first!

Im getting frustrated..If i do kink the pipe like that its almost worthless to run a 3" all the expected gains will be gone...I may have to run a side pipe...Very very disapointing

Dude its totally possible to get a full mandrel bend up there. Mine fits and here is still more space. Heres so more picture. I hope they help. The first picture is going up the side of te gas tank. The 2nd is a closeup of the pipe going over and the 3rd is a little bit further out so you can see both sides.
Id suggest putting a flange where the two clamps are in the 1st picture. I'm a rebel and didn't want flanges.

Man this guy you go to must suck at making exhaust's if he can't figure it out himself. What the hell are you paying the guy for then??

Its OBVIOUS that PLENTY of 1g fwd's have 3" exhaust's NOW its your job to figure out a good route. We can't tell you how to bend it?!?!?! what do you want to hear? The exact radius of the bend?!?!?!?!

I would GO UNDER the cross member NOT over it. My Pipe is LOW as hell....just deal with it if you want 3"
