I installed a TurboXS MBC today, everything is fine i kept getting spike, so i did a search and kept making the line from the MBC to the actuator smaller. So to make a long process short the line now is about 1-2 inches long and the area between the opening of the nipple on the MBC and the opening of the nipple on the actuator is 1/4inches long of room. Is that enough room, will this be ok or will i bust something. I don't want any spike so i made the line from the MBC to the actuator the smallest i could possibly make it, i just want to make sure this is ok? Thanx for any help!

Thanx for the quick response, i just didn't want to drive tomarrow and something would go very wrong beacuse it is extremley close together. I will let everyone know if this helped my spike, boy is the turbo xs a peice of junk mbc, i do not recomend it to anyone!

I believe, also many other people believe that it is the mbc's fault for the spike. Before i installed the mbc my boost stayed at the stock level. I installed the mbc and tried to set it at 15, but it would spike 17 and come down to 12, so did a search and figured out to shorten the line from the mbc to the actuator. I kept doing that and test driving, now it is about as close as i can get it! The last time i test drove the line was about 3-4 inches and it would spike to 16 and come down to 14. Hopefully how short i have it now will stop this spike, it is very annoying. Does anyone know where to get some sort of caps to plug the holes where the old lines went to? Yeah i know everyone could have told me that, but AMS was closed for the shootout and i just got a bug and bought one, i thought for a mbc how much could it differ from one to one, but boy was i wrong. I also heard from friends that turboxs was a good brand so i took a risk and it is the last time! I learned my leason! Thanx for all your help!

Well it started off as a 5-6psi spike, and that is something to worry about. So i thought since i was into it anyways why not just make as perfect as i can. Thanx for the info about the caps!
