question on 6-bolt swap and rods

Well i think i spun a bearing and damaged the crankshaft, my question is:
I plan to either replace the motor or fix the crank my questions are:

1)In a 2g are 1g rods considered an upgrade? Should i upgrade to eagle rods and keep my stock 95 pistons? should i put in 1g rods and put in ross pistons?
2) Can i just put in 1g rods in my 2g? with 2g pistons?
3)What compression on the pistons should i be looking for?
4) If i want to swap a 6-bolt on my car i need everything including the tranny??
5) What needs to be modified for a 6-bolt swap in a 2g???

If I were you I'd do both Ross pistons and Eagle Rods...This way you know everything is new, in good shape, and will work right... My Ross Pistons are 8:5:1

1g rods with 2g pistons in a 6 bolt, if you spun a bearing it would be best to do that. But theyll have to be machined to work I hear.

I'm going to check out what happened and see what i do, i really plan to get a new DSM and build it up but let's say that i damaged something minor that could be fixed, i still need the car to hold me over for let's say a year or 8 months, i plan to spend as least as possible should i:

eagle rods + keep my 95 pistons

1g rods + aftermarket pistons

1g rods + 95 pistons
