I'm doing the big brake upgrade tomorrow on my GST. Question I have: Does the nut on the hard brake line unscrew at all or does the rubber line unscrew from the hardline?

My guess is that the nut on the hard line is to hold it from twisting and the rubber line unscrews from the hard line? Thanks for any tips on this one guys!

Also the big brakes I'm upgrading to a 2G AWD pads and calipers. Know where I can get the shimming hardware for these pads? Thanks.

You will have to use a line-wrench right where the rubber comes up to the hard line. Unscrew that. IT will be right where the bracket is attached to the wheel well.

Ok I think it was a size 10 on the hard line, remember what it is on the rubber line? THanks,.
