Question Im about to buy a Eprom Dsmlink with no data cable should I do it or not

Its a noob question I know , anyways I just need to know if I can buy a data cable for cheap i noticed on ecm tuning it says 195 for the v3 upgrade kit but the old data cable is required guess its like a core fee, Idk hoping someone can shed some light on this situation

I deffiently agree im starting to see that the ecu and the data logging device are two differnt things its 525 for the cable the cd and everything else the ecu is completly different

all the guys there are awesome and some of the most helpful people you will ever talk to. The are on here also so shoot them a pm. I dont know if they are on during the weekend but i know during the week they are usually pretty quick about getting back to you with a complete answer to any question you have.

A V2 EPROM chip without the cable is useless. You can buy one new for $1.75.
