the only time i've heard of "cyclone" being used with our cars is when people are talking about a cyclone intake manifold. i've never seen one, but it is supposed to have something inside that actuates and improves air flow as the turbo spools, I think.

Yea its supposed to "spin" the air like a "cyclone" and is "susposed" to increase the air flow. I dont believe it makes much of a difference at all.
 
JDM engines came with these intake manifolds, that said "Cyclone"........ours dont say it
