i was wondering if anybody has had trouble with the head bolts stripping or such trying to take them out. i'm getting ready to do the head gasket on my 1g and wa wondering if that has been a problem, and was wondering if it is how you would get them out. just wondering . let me know

i already did get arp head studs, i was wondering if the bolts had a tendicy of stripping when trying to pull the head off?

what tool do you use to take the head bolts out with? is it a normal socket or is it hex? and what ever it is what size is it?

I just did mine. Use a breaker bar and a 12 point socket mine came out fine. they are tourqed down pretty tight but a good and long breaker bar will be your best friend. :dsm:
