I have a Holset hy-35. I've run into oil control problems. My turbo did not come with any fittings for the oil feed and return. My question is, what did you all use.

What I want to do is use some -an fittings with braided lines. Does anyone know the oil feed size and thead pitch? I had a hard 1/4" line for the feed, but ran into leaking issues. Also, I don't think it was supplying the turbo with enough oil. The rear bearing went out, resulting in a turbo rebuild. Also, what did you all do for the oil return? I would like to tap it and use a fitting with some braided line running to it, has anyone hard trouble with doing it this way? My only problem is, I currently do not have a tap big enough, but can get access to one.

Thanks,

Shawn
