Langley,
I ordered a Russell SS brake line kit from a local dealer and checked their website and it says the kit includes 4 lines. Then I read another thread on here and someone said that the 1G's have 8 lines and the 2G's have four. Is that true? Will the Russell kit replace all the lines that I should be replacing? When I looked at my car there does seem to be eight lines but the kit only has 4.

edit: can I use the SS lines from a 1G FWD with the AWD 2-piston calipers if I decide to upgrade in the future? Do the single-piston and dual-piston calipers both use the same type of threaded fittiing?

the 1G's have 8 because they split and connect at the strut. If the fittings are the same and you can safely keep the lines from getting to close to the wheel, then you should be fine.

You can use the lines if you upgrade, just make sure that you get the 93-94 2 piston calipers, the 2G 2 pistion brakes won't mate up with the 1G lines and you can't use 2G lines because the fittings are all different. Ones a banjo bolt and one isn't, can't remember which is which though.
