Ok so here is the deal. About 4 weeks ago i noticed my CV BOOT was ripped all the way around and grease was everywhere while i had my car on the lift. Ok no problem so i decided im gunna just replace the whole axle (its the passanger side).
I called NAPA and it was not avaiable for the Turbo w/manual tranny...so i called up Carquest and they had it in their factory. So i said ok go ahead and send it, and i will be getting it tomorrow.
Now my question is how strong are these Carquest axles? I don't want stuff to break if i replace a turbo and put on more power... I don't want to do the same job twice. So am asking you DSMers if i should maybe go with a stronger set of axles or should i just stick with this CarQuest axle. (I can still cancel the order).
