Question about loose Plug and leaking transmission

I found Another Plug that is just hanging in the engine bay. Can someone please tell me what it is for, and possibly how to put it back together. I also have a leaking transmission, i included a picture. I think its a gasket of some sort, but if you guys could give me an educated guess, i would greatly appreciate the time you would save me, Thanks guys!

Not sure about the plug, But i am pretty sure thtat is oil leaking from the oil pan.

Im thinking its the oil pan too, i appreciate the help. If anybody can help with the plug it would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like the MDP plug on top of the intake manifold. But i could be wrong

I cant find anything by the manifold, any one have any other ideas??
