So I am rebuilding my engine and I need to order some parts and was looking for some feedback on different offerings from the vendors.

For headgaskets I am looking at these two

SCE ICS Titan Head Gasket - Modern Automotive Performance

im leaning towards this as the block and head were recently machined and straight edge true but im not going to remachine it to use a mls if I dont have to.

And this one

Mitsubishi Metal / MLS Head Gasket (DSM) - Modern Automotive Performance

For gasket kits I am looking at the cometic complete engine gasket kit.

Is it really that much better for the gaskets to use oem or will these be ok for a build. If its just some gaskets like the front case seal or one or two others I could just use the oem gasket for those spots.

I plan on running a hta68 at about 26-28 psi and beating it fairly hard.

Looking to order today or tomorrow so feedback and insight are welcome

I wouldn't use the Titan gasket personally as it is more of a racing HG. You need to constantly re torque the head studs with the softer copper gasket to ensure it's going to stay sealed. If you want a MLS head gasket then go with the OEM MLS or the Permatorqe. As for the rest of the gaskets, I used the Felpro kit without issue. I got the whole bottom end for $40
