Anyone know what's up with this? My passenger side axle had a castle nut with no pin. It was barely on im thinking this axle was supposed to use a locking nut. Drivers side has the pin and castle nut.

Yes, both sides should. I take it there wasn't a hole through the axle for the cotter pin?
No there isnt a hole for one,
Some aftermarket axles use a stake on the nut instead of a cotter pin.

It looks about like this, it has the 1 slot. So.it needs a staked nut then? It was super loose i barely had to do anything. The other side is giving me problems.
