question about eagle h beam rod install

I am insatlling a set of eagle h beam rods. I am wondering how tight the are suppose to fit the rist pin. Are the suppose to be tight like the stock rods where. The stock rod wrist pin .825 and the eagles messure .827. What am I missing please help.

Eagle rods are known to be tight on rist pins! You want the rist pins to slid back and fourth pretty freely, in the rods. Just take you're rods and a rist pin to a machine shop and have them hone the rods to fit the wrist pins a little better! They will know what to do!

See that's what I'm askin because right now the eagle rods are slightly loose on the wrist pin. And I'm affraid that the wrist pis would try and walk out. The eagle is only .001 or .002 bigger then a factory rod.

Are you putting these on stock pistons?
The wrist pin is prested in on the stock rods, and is a free float on the eagle rods, Meaning the stock rods will have a smaller bore for the wrist pin!

I have no clue, i've never tryed it, asked about it, or searched it! So I can't tell you if it will or wont work! Just search ( eagle rods on stock pistons ) and see what you come up with! Good luck man!!!
