Got my quarter master today, I noticed it doesnt have a ring gear installed, I have one off my fidanza. I tried to press it on but it doesnt seem to fit. Does anyone know if I can use this ring gear? Or do I need to buy a stock flywheel and use the gear off that? I froze the flywheel and torched the crap out of the ring gear, no good.

Put flywheel in freezer.

Degrease and clean flywheel ring gear. Turn oven on to 550*. Insert flywheel ring gear. Heat for 15 minutes. Take out, and drop the chamfered side onto the frozen flywheel.

Should go on like butter without any effort.

Let cool down, and you are set.

I have a stock flywheel I'm gonna try the ring gear off the fidanza seems to be slightly smaller in diameter.
