Just wondering on what clutches you guys prefer. I was going to go with a act 2600 w/ streetlight flywheel, but i have heard too much horror stories about the quality not being what they used to be. Its not a small job having to replace the clutch, and i'd rather purchase something that doesn't waste my time and money. I have never had a act clutch. I am just going by the posts that i have read. I will be running a ported e316g turbo on 91 pump gas. So i am shooting for the 350hp and torque to be not to far off that number as well. What clutch have you been running that you have had for atleast a season that you would reccomend? I will be at the track maybe 3 times a season but mostly use my car for street / road trips as its not my daily. Also what your take on sprung / unsprung discs? Some say its not as bad on our tranny's, while others say not to go with solid discs.

thanks

The SS-Series clutch will handle anything you can throw at it and feels amazing by the foot. It has been tried, tested, and confirmed. It's a wonderful clutch and though not an Ebay $185 snag, it will out perform and out impress them with ease.

It's the only clutch above the Fidanza series I recommend - and I'm very anal about clutches.

I have not used either the act or sbc but I have heared good things about the sbc's and I too ordered a new clutch just recently and will be using South Bend Clutch Heavy Duty TZ/B-Series
Kevlar/Ceramic Clutch Assembly, with an ACT StreetLite Flywheel.

I have similar hp goals as yours and use the Evo 3 16g as well.

I can not say which of the 2 are better but I think I made the "better choice" :)

I have the SS-TZ version. Love it.

Just message Tim Zimmer and he'll get you what you need.
