Python 990 Alarm system

Hey all,
so recently i installed a python 990 alarm system in my 96 gst mitsubhshi eclipse. has remote start, turbo timer, all that jazz. This morning on my way to school i opened my door and it sounded the factory alarm, which is just the horn BEEP BEEP BEEP for like 5 mins and then it just turns off, i can drive the car while the alarm is going off, but i dono how to turn it off. I would like to disarm or disable the stock alarm, i thought i did when i installed my new one but apparently something is not right. Further more, i cannot remote start my car with my 2-way lcd, i cannot even lock unlock with it now...any suggestions? THanks so much!

I will not swear by this but on mine they just unhooked the module behind the radio. Its a little black box and the connector is similar to the shape of the TPS plug. Unhook it, and try.

If that dont work the only way i know to disable the factory alarm, is unlocked the door with the key. (which would defeat the purpose of the system you bought)

How is the turbo timer working out on that? Can you program it for set times?

Little black box? i'll have to look for it, the stereo is completley diff. Not sure if it was disconnected at all. Alpine headunit in there now. And the turbo timer is wonderful, you can set it for 2 5 or 10 mins.

Also don't have a key to my car doors, ignition is diff when i bought it. That's why i got the alarm b/c i dono how much a locksmith would be to make the key..
