Heya. I've been looking over these forums for awhile since my car has been in the shop getting a turbo put. Till I eventually decided to take it off and sell it since my IAC did not act right, and boosting a NA car has to be the worst/most expensive thing I've done in my life and I dont want to go that route. But I have learned alot. Such as, go buy a turbo car.

So I was thinking about geting a GSX. What things should I look for when purchasing one? What size turbo comes in a stock one? Is the te04h (which I had on my focus) is the 14b turbo?

First of all, make sure its a gsx. If you're buying used, some you might find will be debaged, so make sure you're actully buying a turbo vehicle. Take the car out for a test drive, try all the switches and knobs, make sure everything works.

Thanks. How come these DSM's have a suck through maf/mas design instead of a blow through? Blow through would be better because thats what your getting to the engine. The kit on my foci was suck through as well.

Check to make sure that the ears on the block holding the tranny aren't broken. A good sign that 1 or more is broken is that the tranny will move when u press on the clutch.
