1G Pulsating Brakes After Shock and Axle Install

Hello,

Just installed new front shocks (KYB) and both drivers side and passengers side axles. Installation went great, but during the test drive I noticed some brake pedal pulsing and steering wheel shakes that got worse as vehicle speed was increased. Nothing brake related was touched during the installation of the new parts and this was not an issue before the new parts were installed. Any ideas on where to start, or has anyone experienced this problem before?

You probably already checked but if not check your lug nuts. That Sounds like a loose wheel possibly.

Did you contaminate the rotors or pads?

Are the brake pedal only pulsing when you apply force to it? If so, it can be an abs sensor that is faulty. Have seen that on other cars though...

recheck everything and make sure its all tight , does it pulsate through the pedal ? if so could be warped rotors

Well the OP never updated us but I assume he figured it out by now. He didn't have this problem until he replaced the struts and axles so I'll assume it was something stupid like lug nuts. But I would've suggested checking brake fluid and make sure you didn't pull on the brake line when popping the knuckles.
