is there any tricks to pulling out my ignition switch? not sure if thats what its called but its the cylinder you put your key in to start it up. basically my key broke off inside of it and im trying to pull that cylinder out to pull it out. locksmith said it would be easier if i had the cylinder out (cheaper)

Here is what I found in FSM, sounds pretty straight forward, but I have not tried it myself:

REMOVAL SERVICE POINT

A - STEERING LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL

(1) Insert the key in the steering lock cylinder and turn it
to the “ACC” position.

(2) Using a cross-tip (+) screwdriver (small) or similar tool,
push the lock pin of the steering lock cylinder inward
and then pull the steering lock cylinder toward you.

Hope this helps, Good Luck! :thumb:
