There's a wire located directly behind the driver's side of my front bumper right under the alternator and it's sliced right at the plug. I was told it's called the kick down servo switch, and that it's probably the cause of my transmission getting stuck in 2nd gear. (Auto 98 spyder gs) I've called my local junkyards and nobody has any idea of what I'm talking about. Would this be my cause and how would I replace it? I've googled for a few days with many different searches and nothing comes up.

All wires for the transmission are on the passenger side....Could you take a picture of the broken wire and verify its color ?

This is it, I don't know if you can see it or not. Let me know.
