What's up guys, my names Brandon. Purchased my first dsm (95 gsx) in May with the goal of making it a 500hp Street/Track car which will also be my first build. It currently has a greddy 18g, vrsf fmic, black works radiator, fic 650 injectors, aem fuel rail, 190 lph, ported exhaust mani, 1g bov, srs 3" cat-back, dsm v3 full, Eprom ecu, auto meter gauges, Hallman boost controller.

To start off, my buddy is selling me his pte 6262 with .63 a/r t4 housing. Im just looking for some insight on what else I would need in order to run it. Besides fuel pump, injectors, cams. I'm mainly concerned about what manifold to purchase and how to tune this thing and whatever else I should know. (I am also in search of a 6 bolt short block too) Not looking for some smart-a** answers please. Thanks guys

That t4 single scroll in that A/R will probably have about as much lag as a t3 .82 A/R housing...maybe a hair more. That said, you will want a good aftermarket manifold...I would probably go with a JMFabrications manifold, or look for all the guys who run DSMs and do fab work. You don't have to do cams, but they will help. That said, the stock cams will help minimize the lag, but they will limit topend. I would go with a GSC S1, HKS 272 or other smaller cam to help balance the topend gain but also keeping the lowend as strong as possible.

DSMlink is perfect.

What fuel will you run? That will help in deciding what size pump/pumps and injectors.

Some people over on the evo forums have had good luck making good power on a single rewired 450 pump

No. I think dual 255lph would be a waste of money, for how inexpensive the walbro 450 is.

I have seen single 450's flow enough fuel to allow S2k's, evo's, and supra's make over 700 hp.

Also I think the turbo choice is a little big and I am not a fan of that T4 .63 ar setup. It should spool okay but Lag will still be very much present. Even my 2.3L motor on my old PTE6262 .82 T3 V-band didn't have full spool till 4500+ granted it was Journal bearing. If your still on the 2.0 be prepared to rev. Hope you head is well built.

People do run dual 255, but some people are against it, if one pump dies it makes things difficult to diagnose, and if 1 pump were to die during a pull you can end up running really lean.
