Ok guys I have a 1990 eclipse GSX. I am updating to a PTE 5857 turbo with a FP race manifold. I also have a Buschur racing race front mount intercooler. I have the turbo bolted to the mani and I also have the O2 housing bolted up. I put all of it in the engine bay and the outlet for the turbo to meet with the intercooler piping is just right above the front motor mount. I don't think i can connect the piping to the turbo. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what dod you do to fix it? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like you just need to clock the compressor housing. There's 6 bolts holding the comp housing to the center cartridge, just loosen them a little and you should be able to rotate the comp housing until the outlet points where you want.

^ what he said. very easy fix!

i had the same issue with my 6776. i also put a very slight touch of loctite on all of my compressor housing bolts before i tightened them all back in. this is not necessary, but good for peace of mind.

Awesome guys thanks for the help. I knew there had to be an easy fixbut wasnt for sure how yo.

When i got my 5858 from extreme it was clocked properly for my application. However, im a 2g guy and using stock mani. What they said, clock it and hopefully itll clear.
