One of the nosier components under the hood is my PS pump. It still functions, but its 25 years old. I'd like to rebuild or replace it, but am finding them expensive or difficult to locate.

What do people do to restore a PS pump back spec?

Justin

Yeah rebuilding the PS pump is not tricky. Just remember to buy a new bearing and change that at the same time (its not sold in a kit) bearings are old now and you have to replace it while the covers off so best to do it now. When i did mine it was super quiet

@ec17pse, Bobby, do you happen to have a part number for that bearing?
I might have the box still. If not i shall see if i can spot the number on the bearing but thats at home so wont be till later
