proportioning valve difference?

The differences in proportioning valves on the GSX happened when they made changes in the braking hardware.
The 90's had smaller rear brakes than the 91/92 cars and in 93 the front brakes changed to the dual piston calipers. There were two different part numbers originally for the 91/92 proportioning valves but there is only one replacement part for both years and a different part for the 90's. There may be other differences in the ABS system that cause them to offer one kit for 90/91 and 92/94 besides the proportioning valve.

I think we wants to know if the hard lines to the fronts are interchangeable, not the prop valve, itself. I didn't answer before, because I'm not sure. Sometimes the angles of the outputs from the prop valve are slightly different between ABS and non-ABS. My suggestion, if no-one who knows for sure replies, is to go to one of the better parts websites (i.e., one with pictures) and look.
