Since it handles brake fluid, I think I know the answer to this...but would it hurt anything to clean this thoroughly with some carb cleaner or something similar? I have it and all hard lines off the firewall for my rebuild, and want to clean it up before I start putting everything back together.

Same question for the brake booster (master cylinder will be new).

Also, what is the best method for getting everything bled as much as possibe before putting it back together? I've found a few threads, but not a step-by-step procedure to basically assemble a new brake system from scratch... all the way from the caliper connections to the reservoir.

Using carb or brake cleaner shouldnt be a problem at all. I am going to soak mine in a mild detergent to clean mine out. As far as the tubes, do you have an air compressor. :D:thumb:
