IMHO, since the proportioning valves in question seem to have the same bias values, the balance difference is compensated thru piston volume differences. Hopefully, the engineers thought that through, that's what they are paid to do. That way, the main advantage then becomes improved heat dissipation.

I'd say, do the upgrade with matching f/r pads and enjoy. If it seems too front biased, run a grippier rear pad. Otherwise, step up to an adj valve.

Or keep killing those little rotors. :rolleyes:

Cross drilling will kill 'em even faster.
 
OK thanks. I will do the swap. But it seems that I'll stick with Brembo blanks though. Seeing pictures of what happens when rotor cracks at high speed have really convinced me against slotted/drilled rotors.

Now I will have to do some research on pads :)
