Just bought my TSi, the turbo that is in it is Fuxored, so i bought a new one (14b) and i wanted to know how to properly Prime a turbo? Or do you really have to?
Just want to know how to do this properly so i only have to do it once.

If you want, you can pull the MPI fuse and crank it a few times but I don't think its necessary. Once you start the car, just let it idle for a few minutes. The turbo isn't going to spool at idle, and the oil will be circulating through the turbo.

As another option, you can pull the MPI fuse (near the positive terminal on your battery), and crank the car a bit to relieve fuel system pressure until the car dies by itself. Then, unbolt your turbo, put your new turbo on, and crank the car several times (it won't start because there won't be any fuel).

This method will keep you from flooding your cylinders with gas.

Yup, just pull your spark plugs, crank it over 3-4 times, and it's primed. This should only be done on BRAND NEW turbo's that have never had oil run through them. If it's used there is no need (usually).
