Progress and Snags

Well, the newly painted sides and rear bumper are offically on the car and bolted on. Tails were put back in, as well.

Went to install the head on the block only to find that Cometic sent me the wrong headgasket. This one looks like it belongs to an EVO block. So got to call tomorrow and see if they can fix it.

However, did get the cams degreed in. The intake is off 1/4 tooth and the exhaust is off by 1/2 tooth. I should be picking up some adjustable cam gears this week.. so this shouldn't be an issue.

Is it me or are the top the the pistons supposed to be like that?

It's a camera optical trick... cause if you look at the two that are at BDC, they look "normal." That camera pics up EVERYTHING.
