Well i got my shep tranny in on monday, and have been struggleing to get it back in the car. It feels like i'm fighting the back motor mount when i try to slip it on the posts. Its off about 10 degress right now and i was wondering if i should remove that back motor mount? Or if you have any other ideas i would very much appreciate it. It sure was easier to get it off there than to get it on.

It should go back in just as easy as it came out. Did you happen to remove the little triangle plate right under the passenger side cv axle? I has trouble getting the tranny to clear that. I never had problems with the rear motor mount hitting the tranny at all, keep looking to see what else it could be.

Get about 4 guys to help if you have not already and wach the transfer input shaft and the rear sub frame. I used a jack and a chain to get it up and then had 4 guys helping me to align it. It took alot longer than it ever should have but, it went.

Its in, i removed the rear motor mount. That allowed me to rotate the tranny a little more. And i had a guy on the end give it a push a pow, went right into place. Thanks for the replys. I wish i had 4 guys to help :) only had 2.
