I took off my tranny pan and I found the magnet all ground up could this cause my automatic tranny to shift hard and shift abnormally ...Plus this summer when I blow the motor up I want to do the 5sp conversion and looking for some people to help me from my area theres money and beer involved so anyone interested send me a pm..

Thanks

Is the magnet truly "ground up" or just covered in flaky metal mush? - Some flaky metal mush is "normal" for a 90 I'd say - Just nurse that Auto along until you can afford the time for swap or [ick up a manual car or part out the Auto.

No its out of my 95 tsi and the magnet is ground up into chucks.

Well I changed filter today and put a new magnet in it.. What do yous think of added a additive to it?
