Hi everyone, im new here and i just bought me this 97 Talon TSi AWD. I had it for about 4 months now but last week I reversed then when I took it out of reverse the stick was really loose and now I don't have 3rd, 5th, or reverse. When i put it in reverse it was kind of hard to put it in so I had to jerk it in there then when I took it out the stick was all loose. It feels like it won't go all the way over for me to put it in 5th or reverse. And when I put it in 3rd it acts like it is in neutral. Any ideas on what is wrong with my tranny?
Thanks in advance

Yo check your shift linkage connecting on top of your transmission... what it sounds like to me is that the clip of the linkage wondered off and now your only stuck with the gears forward.... so check that on the tranny to make sure everythings in tact.... if thats not the prob.. holla at me on pm and well trouble shoot.. :thumb:
