problem with tranny

Ok, first off, I have a 97 GSX auto. Sometimes when I drive with o/d on and it just shifts to fourth and I don't accelerate anymore and just hold the gas pedal at one speed, the car like jerks like it's trying to shift or go somwhere. But it doesn't make any sense bec/ it's already in fourth and has no where else to go, and it's only at the low end of the gear. It never does it at mid range or high end. It also doesn't do it all the time. Sometimes the car will shift weird and sometimes it shifts perfectly. And it only jerks like that in 4th when o/d is on. Anybody have any ideas or do I need to talk to the Mitsu dealership?

You may have a seal, gasket leak or a servo messed up(for jerking) you will need to take it to the dealer to do a pressure test and run diag on it. From here I cant really help you.

aight thanx. I've been meaning to take it to the dealer anyway to have them hook it up to the computer to see if there's anything wrong with the car. I just bought it a couple weeks ago and bought a 3 year warranty for it, so that's why I wanna have it looked at. Thanks for the input.
