Problem with idle and Gauges and tails dont work...

Ok i traded my eprom 95 ecu for a 98 non erprom ecu. i put it in and changed the plug wires 1 for 2 and 3 for 4 (so itd work) and now my idle is terribly low (6-800rpm) and its stalled a couple times (shouldn happen im automatic). So i put back in my old ecu and swapped the plugs back and my idle is exactly the same at 600rpm-800rpm (which is weird cause it used to be 1500rpm idle with my old ecu). And last night i turn on my car and my indiglos dont work (or the gauge cluster lights, hvac, etc) and i got pulled over yesterday too because i guess my tailights werent working either. If anyone can help me with any of these problems id greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Check your fuse box under the hood.

yup check the tail light fuse under the hood. i bet it is blown.

Your fuse must be blown. I would bet it is a blown fuse that is causing your indilgo gauges and taillights not to be working.

I would try to see if your plugs and wires are still in good condition. It might be time you change them.

I'm with them on the fuse. Do your headlights stay on and if they do it's the main 100 amp fuse! $4 or less at autozone or wherever!!

Thanks Alot guys! It was my tailamp fuse i founf out. I just swapped in the fuse from the foglights (since there not connected) and now the tails and gauges work perfect

But is the idle still the same? I would assume it to be.

Oh yea, yea i solved it by just turning that screw on the TB couner clockwise and the idle went up and now all is well
