problem starting and then wont charge battery

This is my problem give me some pointers please. Thank you in advance for your replies. I am puzzled. Ok so this problem started before I went on cruise. I would go to start it and it would sound like there was no power at all, but there was plenty of power and I would turn the key off and then back on or just keep trying to restart it from the run position of the ignition. Replaced the starter 2 brand new starters nothing read all the wires starting from the starter going all of the way up to the ignition. No go. All wires read good. That stumped me.

Then my battery started not holding a charge so I thought. I have went thru 3 batteries now. Then tried the altenator. Same thing. Read all of the wires from the ground to the battery and so on. Still same thing. Does anyone have any pointers for a idea on either or. I am puzzled.

Im still trying to figure out what the prob/question is...haha So the car doesnt start? Does the engine rotate? abnormaly slow rotation? Do your accesories work fully? Id check all your connections and make sure theyre all clean and tight.

everything works as if there was nothing wrong with the car. I turn the key all of the way to the start past run and i dont do nothing. then i let off and after 2 till how ever many more times till it will turn over. then it runs completly fine no problems except the battery wont charge but the car will stay running

It sounds like you have an ignition switch issue AS WELL as charging problem. And you said you have replaced the alternator? new? As far as the no starting issue, grab the manual and check the switch, very similar thing happened to me.

alright i will have to do that after i get off work tonight. yea the altenators have been new to. it just sucks having to keep getting new batteries every month . they are free but sucks.

Yeah I know what you mean. But I mean think about, there are only so many things you can replace to deal with the chaging issue, and it looks like you covered them all. At this point, Id thoroughly check ALL connections with a voltmeter and check for any issues.

yea i did all of that i think that i am going to run new power and ground wires and i think there is a ignition wire that runs to it to give power when the key is on which could be it to but they have all read good so that is about my last try and if it dont work i have been pricing out wiring harnesses
