Battery wont hold charge, anyone ever shipped one?

Well from what ive seen i belive my battery is crapping out on me and isnt holding a charge anymore. I found out that they dont exactly make a dsm sized optima, so im wondering what size people usually substitue instead, and has anyone ever bought a battery and had it shipped? a friend of mine is saying its a bad idea... any opinions?

Whatever you were going to save by not buying one at the nearest Auto Zone will probably be eaten up by shipping costs.
Any particular reason for getting an Optima? Why not just a good battery?

Got my Optima Yellowtop off of ebay for $80...it was brand new. I had it shipped with no problems.

ya may want to check into your local sears auto center. (they carry them)

i got my optima yellow top from advanced auto parts, i had them price match ($110) some add i found online. also they let me recycle some junk old battery i had lying around for an additional $10 refund. the model i bought (d34) fit just fine.
