Good alternator, good fuse, new terminals grounds, and starter. The problem is it will not charge. There is not a code spitting from the ecu, and i can charge the battery and car runs fine untill the battery dies. I just looked up other threads and every one said" oh its a bad wire some were." I checked all the wires i could and all are good? Were else is there?

so the battery voltage doesn't go up with the car started? voltage regulator could be messed up if thats the case and your sure all the wires are fine

I have never had this amount of lack of information with a DSM. i mean i have done three swaps and Currently doing a 500hp build on a second gen, and yet i couldnt remember were the regulator is.... WOW. ok thanks guys ill get back with more info.

Generally, a faulty voltage regulator will trip the battery light in the dash. I forget which wire indicates that the voltage regulator is working, and its specifically for the dash.

If you're battery died for whatever reason, it needs to be recharged. An alternator won't recharge a dead battery. However in your case, it sounds like the battery is bad, or you misdiagnosed the alternator. A bench test is the best way to determine if the alternator is putting out the necessary amperage. A load test on the battery is the best way to determine if the battery is bad. DO NOT disconnect the battery terminals to see if the alternator will keep it running.

Check out this link. Alternator & Charging System Checks (Alternator Testing)

You're not looking for DSM information, you're looking for general maintenance/repair information. :thumb:

I did check the alternator properly and I did not nor WILL NOT disconnect the battery to check. Now what the problem is I would get a battery charger charge the battery, out it in and run the car. runs fine and then the battery dies over a five to ten min basis. The alternator on the car is one of Three that i have placed on this car, two were craigslist buys, the one currently on the car is Brand new. So I'm going to get another battery and see if that changes anything.
