problem help??

i have just recently purchased a 1991 eclipse GSX with a 16g turbo...the seller told me the gaskets for the turbo were leaking bad the car has no power when i step on the gas....could this be a fuel problem or do the gaskets need to be changed?????? ### HELP!!!!!

Well this could be a number of problems. What are you using for fuel management? It would also be wise to do a boost leak test since this a new car. This will take care of a number of problems. Also, check your plugs and wires. Make sure they are gapped to .028 and clean. If he says you need new turbo / exhaust gaskets I would check those and change those as well.

Also, as I have said many times, use soap and water when you do a boost leak test so you see them easier and fix them.

The buyer told me there was 380cc injectors on the car the buyer did put a new fuel pump but not sure if it was stock or aftermarket he told me he had 450cc injectors for the car....if i put 450 in will that make my car faster out of the hole........i mean i have to push the pedel to the floor to start moving wut should i do?

First off the car should have come stock with 450cc injectors. What color are they? They should be blue on the tops. If they are they are 450cc. Also if it is that bad I would, like said before, get the car boost leak tested. What are you running for psi? With a 16g and 450cc injectors I wouldn't go past 16psi but that still wouldn't make the car slow from the get go. I would check the basics first...plugs, boost leak, them compression if the others check out but from what it sounds like you just have a really big boost leak which would be from gaskets leaking or hose clamps loose. Stuff like that.
