help???problem!

yesterday my boost controller was hooked up the wrong way and my talon pushed 30psi boost,,, now i have what looks like small metal flakes coming out of my exhaust?? what might it be??

possibly over exerted your turbo (t25s dont like high boost) pull off the intake pipe and check for shaft play. also you might want to do a compression test general rule of thumb is our stock head gaskets are usualy only good for about 24 psi. I doubt you damaged the gasket because our stock turbos dont realy move that much air, but better to be safe than sorry.

Is this for real? Metal shavings out the exhaust doesnt sound like your everyday DSM problem but then again its a DSM...

If in fact you believe thats the case Remove the turbo. Take the o2 housing loose from your downpipe and see if you sent the impeller into the compressor housing or o2 housing. That would be the only thing remotely close that could cause metal flakes to come out the exhaust. Thats even IF it made it through the exhaust w out sticking to the piping wall and traveling through 2 Catalytic converters.
