Problem: Car Dies after 2 miles of driving

Alright, i have a 97 Eagle talon tsi awd. My car wouldnt hold a charge overnight, so i charged it up and drove it to get the battery tested. They said my battery was terrible, so i bought a new one. That worked for the first two days, then my dash lights started going on (ABS, Battery light, etc) just dimly lit though. So i got my alternator checked, and that was bad, so i just put a new one in. Well, it worked for a day and dashlights decided to turn on, and it died again.
When it died the first time, the exhaust would pop right after the dashlights started turning on. And when i tried to increase throttle, the RPMs would just drop instead of going up, and after a certain amount of time with the RPM drops it would just die.
I just have no idea what to do, i have had so much problems with this car and im really getting tired of it. Any ideas?

check alternator fuse and battery terminals. Get them to charge your battery and check it (just because its new doesn't mean its good, and the same for your alternator)
what kind of alternator did you buy. If its a reman you should take it out and get them to check it becuase remans suck @$$

Yea, its a Napa remanufactured. And i charged my new battery after it died the first time. Ill check the fuse, and get the alternator checked. Thanks for the help man, keep checkin this post because i might need some more help
