Is there any way of telling if a motor is good without taking it apart?

the shop that had my motors mixed them all up and i dont know which is the good and the bad and i don't think i can handle taking it apart and being able to get it back together.

Its not a dumb question but its the first time Ive seen someone ask it LOL If its internal i don't know of any other way to check other then taking it apart in less you drop it in the car.But then if you put the bad one in you gotta pull it all back out LOL.That would suck so bad.So what was wrong with the bad motor?

Drop the oil pan,or manually turn over the motor. You should hear it or feel it when turning the motor over.
