2G privacy cover hanger

Relatively simple question but the sheer amount of threads I get when I search "privacy cover" and privacy cover hanger, leads me to this thread.


Anyone got a lead on where to buy the OEM 2G privacy cover hangers? They're a small, bullet shaped piece of plastic that inserts into the 2G hatch, where the strings from the privacy cover hang off of. I've tried to search JNZTuning's OEM Parts category to no avail. Help? I'd rather buy new than have to depend on junkyard sun-hardened plastics. If you have a work-around, feel free to mention it!

I had this same exact issue. I went the junkyard route after many searches of new parts other than the dealer couldn't find anything. The one I got from a junkyard was actually in pristine condition. I'm in Sacramento ca area this has to be the junkyard capital of the state there's a shit ton of dsm's here in the yards.

+1 here as well. One of mine just dropped off of the hatch. You may want to get ahold of Miller Import Parts, he has stuff like that. I already got ahold of him awhile back and he will ship them.

I'm half tempted to get my fabricator friend to just make me something and weld them sumbitchs in there.

Great price but holy shit they want $12 for shipping plus a $5 "handling fee". For $20 I'll just buy two screws and thread them in. Lol.

Yea. They used to help a lot of us out with small packages/envelopes and such but they were losing so much money on the back end. It's understandable and no fault of their own. Easy enough to just remember to include the small things on larger orders from now on.

Your best bet is calling into a local dealer (if possible).
