recently my power windows on my 92 eagle talon stopped working. I thought it was the unit in the drivers side door so i removed it and replaced with a junk yard unit. Problem persisted got one more unit still problem persisted.

Then as I was driving I pushed on it just for fun and it worked.

upon starting car for next trip no go on the windows.

So I have been trying to figure out what the actual issue is with it.

I have found out a few things..

when its not working, neither the passenger or drivers side work at all its total failure of the power windows.

When it does work it works perfectly normal both drivers side and passenger side controls are flawless.

It never works at start up always minutes into a trip.

I replaced fuse to see if it was messed up somehow problem persisted.

So what could tthis be any ideas?

Could be a broken wire in the door jam. Hold the button and open/close the door and see if they start working.

okay i tried holding door jar and moving it around as i held button didn't do anything.

Also tried shaking the wiring harness that plugs into power window switch idn't do anything.

I am curious about this lubeing.

Where do i lube exactly the wire ?

and how would that effect the door ? and would that also cause the passenger one to not work at the same time ?

The lubing comment didn't make since for your situation.

Pull the plug on the window switch and see if there is power to the Blue wire with the key on.

If you don't have power there, got to the relay/fuse box under the hood on the passenger side and swap the window relay with one of the other just to try. If your windows work now, then swap back the relays and get a new one.

i was just getting ready to tell you that yes i had power to the blue wire.

Then i saw this pic and though i would try swapping relays anyways and it worked.

So for now the fog lights may or may not work but atleast im not cooking in my car.

Thank You Very Very much
