Power Windows don't work (buzzing) PW

During the winter my Power Windows quit working. My power seat quit workin at the same time or shortly after, i did not really notice both at the same time. The problem might be related but Im not sure.

I can't get them to open from either sides (Both Windows dont work). Sometimes, but only somtimes i hear a buzzing sound when i press the button. It doesnt buzz everytime.

I checked the fuse but it is fine. I am pretty sure they are getting power because of the buzzing sound heard close to the switch when pressing it.

Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong??

It is very important that i get it fixed because it is gettin very hot out and my AC fan melted. So im pretty much screwed since i dont have AC either since my Fan Blades melted (Do not remove your heat shields!) .

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

You can test the switch with a test light. Just touch the lead that is suppose to get 12V when you push the button, if it does move onto the motor. Sounds like your switch though. The motor will be bad if your switch still works obviously. Your regulator would be bad if your motor still ran but the window would fall down or not move at all.

Those are your only two options if it is still buzzing.

When I first got my eclipse the windows didnt work hardly at all. What fixed the problem was actually quite simple. All I had to do was clean all of the connections. You would be amazed at how dirty some of the contact points get.
